Students cleaned the beaches in Alanya

In an event organized in cooperation between the Alanya Municipality and Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University, university students cleaned the beaches of Alanya, raising awareness about environmental issues.

The beach cleaning event was held in cooperation with the Alanya Municipality and Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ). With the support of the Alanya Municipality’s Cleaning Department and the participation of ALKÜ students, waste such as broken glass, cigarette butts, and packaging was collected, aiming to prevent environmental and marine pollution.

STUDENTS MADE A CALL FOR ACTION

After the cleaning work, Physical Education Teacher Mehmet Anıl Gök, Alanya Municipality’s Cleaning Department Director Adem Demir, and volunteer students displayed a banner reading "We Say Stop to Marine Pollution Together." The volunteers called for a national mobilization to keep the beaches clean, protect the marine ecosystem, and reduce marine pollution to a minimum.
