While Russia remains the top country sending tourists to Alanya and Antalya, there is a remarkable increase in the Polish market

New countries are emerging on Antalya’s tourism map. Although Russia still holds the top position, the significant rise in the number of tourists from Poland has shifted the tourism sector’s attention to this country. According to Kaan Kavaloğlu, President of the Mediterranean Touristic Hoteliers and Operators Association (AKTOB), Poland, which has strengthened its economic stability, is on the path to becoming one of Antalya’s key markets.

CLOSELY MONITORED

Tourism professionals are closely monitoring not only Poland but also the Netherlands, Kazakhstan, and the Baltic countries due to their growing potential in sending tourists. The increase in visitors from these countries could bring a fresh boost to the region’s tourism sector.
