The Traditional Gökbel Oil Wrestling Festival, a meeting point for sports enthusiasts and nature lovers, will be held for the 19th time between July 31 and August 3, 2025. With its renewed face, the festival brings many innovations. In this context, the market and dining areas established at the summit of the Taurus Mountains have been expanded and their infrastructure renewed to serve visitors fully. The tents in the area, which is the largest and most attended local market in the region, will offer a variety of products from kitchenware to textiles, and from natural products of local producers to ready meals.

Applications Will Be Accepted for 5 Days

In addition to numerous visitors from nearby villages and plateaus, campers and sports enthusiasts will be able to meet all their needs at the market and dining areas throughout the four-day event. Applications have started for those who want to set up stands at the region’s most attended local market at the Taurus summit. Vendors can apply to the Alanya Municipality Climate Change and Zero Waste Directorate between July 21-25, 2025.
