Seksendört Concert in Antalya | Turkish Pop Rock Legends Reunited
Seksendört is a Turkish pop rock band from Ankara, founded in 1999 by Tuna Velibaşoğlu, Arif Erdem Ocak, İsmail Okan Özen, and drummer Serter Karadeniz. The band began their musical journey by performing English Nu Metal and Rapcore covers of foreign bands, later transitioning to composing and arranging Turkish songs. In 2004, after the departure of Doğan Umut Dal and the addition of İsmail Okan Özen, the band took its final form. They gained recognition in 2005 with their debut studio album Seksendört. Their second album K.G.B. made them popular across Turkey. Their latest album Akıyor Zaman was released in 2011.
The band was named “Band of the Year” at the 2012 Turkey Music Awards. Although they decided to disband in 2020, in 2022 the members — Tuna Velibaşoğlu, Serter Karadeniz, İsmail Okan Özen, and Arif Erdem Ocak — announced via their official Instagram accounts that the band had reunited.
