In 1998, he expanded his fan base with the album Esirinim. Albums like Masal, Sevdiğim Şarkılar, and Hatırla left a mark on Turkish pop music. His latest album Şehir Yalnızlığı was released in 2017 and achieved great success. Yaşar has won many awards and given countless concerts. In 2021, celebrating his 25th anniversary in music, he released vinyl editions of the Divane and Esirinim albums.
