Mauritius - 29-year-old Russian university teacher Zaliya Şamigulova was stabbed to death by Puryavirsingh Sundur, a Mauritian IT engineer whom she met on the popular dating app Tinder. The murder took place in Mauritius, where Şamigulova was on vacation.
According to information obtained, Zaliya Şamigulova and Puryavirsingh Sundur met in Mauritius and began a relationship. When the two went on a walk together, Sundur attacked Şamigulova with a knife and ended her life. It was reported that Şamigulova's tongue and throat were cut so that she could not call for help.
Following the incident, Şamigulova's body was buried in a cemetery. An autopsy revealed that the woman had multiple stab wounds on her chest and that her tongue and throat had been cut. It is thought that this type of injury may have been done to prevent Şamigulova from calling for help.
It was reported that some body parts and clothes were missing from Şamigulova's body, and local media reported that these missing parts are still being searched for. The suspect, Puryavirsingh Sundur, was detained and arrested.
