Surprising departure at ALTSO attracts attention

The Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ALTSO) held its regular October assembly meeting.

The meeting began with the Turkish National Anthem and a moment of silence in honor of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic, and fallen heroes ahead of the Republic Day on October 29. During the session, Chairman Eray Erdem provided a report on the board's activities to the assembly members.

Chairman Erdem mentioned their participation at the 13th YÖREX Local Products Fair, showcasing Alanya's local products: "Throughout the fair, we promoted Alanya’s local products at our booth, organized in coordination with our chamber and in collaboration with Alanya businesses."

Erdem also shared their attendance at the European and Asian Summit organized by the World Chambers Federation under the chairmanship of TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu: "At the summit, we were able to discuss with the World Chambers Federation and our Minister of Environment and Climate Change the issues and needs of Alanya’s business community and requested support for solutions".

After his speech, Erdem presented a plaque to Mücahit Pişkin, who transferred his assembly membership to Abdullah Yakar, thanking him for his service: "I thank Mücahit for his contributions to our chamber and wish Abdullah Yakar success".

Mücahit Pişkin, stepping down from the assembly, expressed gratitude for the collaboration with Chairman Erdem and the assembly members: "I thank our esteemed Chairman Eray and all assembly members. We have worked in harmony for two years".
