The military helicopter from the Army Aviation School crashed next to a gas station in the center of Keçiborlu, Isparta. It was reported that 6 military personnel were martyred in the incident. Among the martyrs was Brigadier General İsa Baydilli, the Commander of Isparta Army Aviation School.
Isparta Mayor Şükrü Başdeğirmen announced that all fire and search-and-rescue teams were directed to the area. Isparta Governor Abdullah Erin stated that the accident occurred during a training flight and that search efforts for the other personnel were ongoing. The Ministry of National Defense announced that the injured personnel, who were transferred to the hospital, could not be saved, and the number of martyrs increased to 6.
