Nigerian bride for Alanya's well-known family

Batuhan Emre, son of Mevlüt Yeni and his wife Hanife Yeni, got married to Idara Kristina Ewang in a grand wedding in Nigeria, with officials from the Turkish Embassy and close friends joining in the couple's happiness.

Mevlüt Yeni, the former president of the Antalya Journalists Association and the general manager of MY Gazete, and his wife Hanife Yeni, who live in Canada, attended their son Batuhan Emre’s wedding to Kristina Ewang in Nigeria's capital Abuja. The Yeni family attended the ceremony in traditional African attire. Also present at the wedding were Necdet Alkandemir, owner of Graphx Agency and Lei Hotel, Elif Duru, the 3rd Secretary of the Turkish Embassy, and embassy staff.

Before the wedding, during the traditional bride request ceremony, businessman Dr. Emeka Okonkwo presented Mevlüt Yeni with a book about his 25 years of service in journalism.

Mevlüt Yeni shared their happiness and announced that they will hold a traditional wedding in Antalya in 2025 to celebrate with their loved ones.
