In Alanya, a yellow serum was administered, and now the patient is in intensive care! Experts are warning

The unapproved drug called "Atom," used to treat respiratory diseases like the flu and cold, has become increasingly popular every year and has now put a young person in Alanya into intensive care. Despite warnings from the Ministry of Health, this practice continues to lead to serious health issues.

Recently, deaths linked to the "yellow serum" have prompted the Ministry of Health to take action. The ministry has been warning citizens against unapproved serum applications, emphasizing that such interventions can cause serious health problems and should only be performed by authorized health institutions.

A similar incident recently occurred in Alanya, where a young person was hospitalized in intensive care due to this treatment, and the health technician who administered it was arrested and sent to prison. Nadir Aldemir, the head of the Alanya District Health Department, had previously warned citizens that legal actions would be taken once the perpetrators were identified. He urged people not to trust treatments that were not prescribed by a doctor.

"DO NOT TRUST, DO NOT RISK YOUR HEALTH"

Aldemir reiterated that no one should undergo procedures such as serum or injections without a doctor's prescription. He pointed out that medical procedures performed at home or workplaces are illegal. "We strongly advise against such procedures, and we initiate legal action as soon as we detect them. Citizens should avoid such interventions as they pose great risks. Unfortunately, there is no miraculous cure for the flu; the only protection is through preventive measures. One of them is getting the flu vaccine in the fall," he said.

STRICT INSPECTIONS CONTINUE

Aldemir also mentioned that inspections of such unauthorized practices are ongoing. "Our teams are conducting strict inspections. As soon as a violation is detected, we launch an investigation. We will not allow any actions that threaten public health," he emphasized.
