They Never Stopped for 24 Hours in Alanya: You’ll Be Surprised by the Amount of Trash Collected in 5 Days

During the Eid al-Adha holiday, Alanya Municipality’s Cleaning Services teams worked intensively and collected a total of 4,874 tons and 630 kilograms of waste, launching a citywide cleaning campaign.

To ensure residents enjoyed a clean and comfortable environment during the holiday, teams worked around the clock for five days, covering both the city center and rural areas of Alanya.

Villages and highlands were not forgotten either.

Starting on the eve of the holiday, cleaning efforts continued uninterrupted until the last day of Eid.

Of the collected waste, 4,552 tons were household waste and 322 tons and 630 kilograms were recyclable packaging waste, totaling approximately 4,875 tons.

Receiving full marks from the public, Alanya Municipality's environmental sensitivity during the holiday was widely appreciated by both locals and visitors.
