Bargain-priced shop auction by the municipality begins in Alanya

Alanya Municipality to Launch Shop Rental Auction on July 3

Alanya Municipality is set to lease out various shops and commercial properties located in the neighborhoods of Kızlarpınarı, Mahmutlar, Oba, and Türkler through an open auction on July 3, 2025, for a period of 3 years. The annual rental prices start from 140,000 TL. This auction presents a valuable opportunity for entrepreneurs and local business owners looking to establish or expand their operations in Alanya.

The properties will be leased under the provisions of Article 45 of the Turkish State Tender Law No. 2886, and the auction will be held at the Alanya Municipality Council Meeting Hall. Shops available vary in size and location, with estimated annual rents ranging from 140,000 TL up to 700,000 TL. The most valuable property, a 216 m² commercial unit consisting of four shops located on Spor Street in Kızlarpınarı, has a total 3-year rental price of 2,100,000 TL (excluding VAT) and a required security deposit of 63,000 TL.

Who Can Apply?

Both individuals and legal entities (companies, cooperatives, etc.) can participate in the auction. Applicants must prepare a detailed file including various official documents, such as:

For Individuals: ID copy, proof of residence, criminal record, tax certificate, professional chamber registration, temporary guarantee payment receipts, and site visit certificate.

For Legal Entities: Company authorization, trade registry, signature circular, criminal records of directors, debt clearance certificates from tax and social security offices, and other required documents.

All applications must be submitted in person to the Alanya Municipality Real Estate and Expropriation Directorate by 4:00 PM on July 2, 2025. Submissions via post or courier will not be accepted. The tender file fee is 2,000 TL including VAT.

Why Is a Security Deposit Required?

To ensure serious participation and avoid potential disruptions, a temporary guarantee and withdrawal compensation must be deposited. These will be refunded if the applicant does not win or signs the lease agreement. Failure to sign the contract within the legal period after winning will result in forfeiture of both deposits.

Auction Details

Each property will be auctioned individually starting at 10:00 AM on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at the Municipality Council Hall. Participants can bid verbally or in writing. Alanya Municipality reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or determine the final lease amount above the minimum threshold.
