Are you ready to explore the stories of historic houses in the heart of Antalya's Kaleiçi? Visitors enter a time tunnel as they discover these homes.
The "Memory Spaces and Cultural Heritage - Antalya Kaleiçi Houses" project, initiated by Muratpaşa Municipality in Antalya's historic Kaleiçi district, brings the rich history of the area to life with modern technology. The project narrates the stories of 51 structures in documentary form, available in Turkish, English, Russian, and German.
A Journey Through History with QR Codes
Thanks to the QR codes placed on the doors of historic houses in Kaleiçi, visitors can instantly watch the documentaries on their smartphones. The project unveils the historical stories of prominent structures throughout the area, from the Hassun Captain's Mansion, built in 1875, to the house of Frenchman Patrich Walch, restored in 2004.
