Antalya gymnast İrem Sırcan has been selected for the national team

Muratpaşa Belediyespor's 15-year-old gymnast İrem Sırcan achieved great success at the national team selections held in Istanbul.
İrem Sırcan, the 15-year-old gymnast of Muratpaşa Belediyespor, successfully passed the national team selections held in Istanbul and was selected for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics Rhythmic Gymnastics Senior Group team.
Starting gymnastics at the age of 5, Sırcan won her first medal at the age of 7 in the Turkey Minors League competition. In 2019, she transferred to Muratpaşa Belediyespor and in 2021, she became the first Rhythmic Gymnastics TOHM athlete from Antalya to pass the Turkish Olympic Preparation Center (TOHM) barrier, achieving various national and international accolades. This year, the young athlete won the championship at the Antalya inter-school gymnastics competition and placed fourth at the Turkish Championship.
İrem Sırcan also experienced the excitement of lifting the first place trophy with her team at the Rhythmic Gymnastics Bosphorus Cup organized by the Turkish Gymnastics Federation.

Following her successful completion of the senior group national team selections in Istanbul in June, Sırcan shared her success with these words: "I am moving to Istanbul soon. It's very gratifying, I am very happy." İrem Sırcan emphasized the significant role of her dedicated coaches who supported her over the years, highlighting that her intensive efforts during training sessions and the support of her coaches greatly contributed to her success.
