Finally, the start begins! New faculties will appear in Alanya

After ÖHEP signed an agreement with Waldorf for evacuation, following the request from YÖK, Alanya University has initiated the opening of new departments.
The Higher Education Council (YÖK) mandated the expansion of Alanya University, leading to the evacuation of a priceless 1-acre land located on Alanya Kale Yamacı, which ÖHEP had used for over 40 years. With the evacuation process officially starting after the agreement with Waldorf School, Alanya University, which began admitting students in 2014 with 650 students, now aims to increase its target to thousands.
Prof. Dr. Mesut Güner, the Rector of Alanya University, stated, "The number of our students will gradually increase to 4-5 thousand, allowing us to stand on our own feet. We have opened 6 new programs, some of which will start this September at the Kale site. Additionally, preparatory, TÖMER, and SEM education programs will be located there."
OPENING OF HAMDULLAH EMINPAŞA CAMPUS
Rector Güner announced that in the 2024-2025 academic year, they will admit students for the first time to the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department (Undergraduate), Business Administration TR (Undergraduate), Business Administration ENG (Undergraduate), Interior Architecture and Environmental Design (Undergraduate), Computer Programming (Associate), and Tourism and Hotel Management (Associate) programs. The land vacated by ÖHEP College will be named Hamdullah Emin Paşa Campus. This campus will house the preparatory, economic, administrative, and Social Sciences Faculty, as well as TÖMER and SEM units. In addition, the Management Information Systems department has been opened for the first time this year, and after completing its infrastructure, we will admit students here and in various other departments next year."
