Accident in which the acting district director of youth and sports in Isparta and a dormitory worker were killed captured on camera

Security Camera Footage of Fatal Accident in Isparta Released

The security camera footage of the accident in which Hasan Şahin (37), the acting district director of youth and sports in Keçiborlu, and Ahmet İlkay Uluğbay (30), a staff member at the Gülkent Student Dormitory, lost their lives, has been released.

The accident occurred on July 25 at around 16:30 in the Dörtyol area of Keçiborlu district. The car with the license plate 20 ACN 897, driven by Hasan Şahin, rear-ended a truck with the license plate 32 K 3698, which was traveling in the same direction and driven by Z.G. The car was crushed under the truck in the collision, leaving it a wreck. Both Hasan Şahin and Ahmet İlkay Uluğbay sustained severe injuries. Emergency services and police were dispatched to the scene following reports from bystanders. The injured were taken to Keçiborlu State Hospital but unfortunately, both died after initial treatment. The truck driver, Z.G., was released after giving his statement.

Meanwhile, the security camera footage of the accident has surfaced, showing the moments when the car collided with the truck.
