Marriage rates are decreasing in Alanya. In 2024, there has been a significant reduction in the number of couples getting married compared to the previous year. In September alone, there was an 18% decrease in marriages. Last September, 273 couples tied the knot, while this September, that number dropped to 224.

A similar trend is observed in the first 10 months of the year. From January to October 2024, the number of couples getting married has decreased by about 12% compared to the same period in 2023, falling to 1,618.
