An important project to ease transportation between Konya and Alanya nears completion

As part of the project aimed at improving connectivity between the two cities, in addition to the already operational Eğiste Viaduct, some tunnels constructed on the Kuş Yuvası road, notorious for its dangerous curves, have been opened to traffic. This development has significantly reduced travel time between Konya and Alanya, and several ongoing projects are approaching completion.

TRAVEL TIME BETWEEN KONYA AND ALANYA WILL BE REDUCED TO 2 HOURS

According to MHP Deputy Chairman Mustafa Kalaycı, once the project is completed, the journey between Konya and Alanya will take only 2 hours. This will provide both locals and tourists with a more comfortable and safer travel experience.

PROJECT COMPLETION AWAITED

However, it has been noted that the project is still underway. The full opening of the Kuş Yuvası tunnels and the completion of connecting roads remain topics of interest.

For many years, the dangerous curves of the Kuş Yuvası road have been a significant problem for local residents. With the new tunnels, this threat will be eliminated. As a result, traffic accidents will decrease substantially, and transportation safety in the region will improve.
