Erdoğan’s Message for May 19th! The Emphasis on "Turkey's Century" Caught Attention

"WE ARE TAKING STEPS TO CARRY THE REPUBLIC OF TURKEY TO THE FUTURE"

May 19th, a gift from Gazi Mustafa Kemal to the Turkish youth, is the date when the first step of the independence struggle, initiated by our ancestors with faith, determination, and resolve, was taken. We, too, are taking steps to protect the homeland and the Republic, which our ancestors entrusted as a sacred legacy, and we are moving forward to elevate and develop the Republic of Turkey, which will remain eternal. We see our youth not only as the architects of the future but also as the driving force of change. I wholeheartedly believe that with the energy, determination, and dreams of Turkish youth, who carry our civilization heritage in their hearts, this era will be marked by the "Century of Turkey."

"WE WILL LEAVE A COUNTRY FULL OF PEACE AND PROSPERITY FOR OUR YOUTH"

In the construction of Turkey's future, we are solving and permanently eliminating any problem that would waste our youth's energy or squander our nation's resources with futile debates. We are working with all our might to fulfill our promise to leave our youth a peaceful, prosperous country equipped with high technologies. We are providing opportunities for our youth to explore their potential in every field, from science to art, sports to agriculture, diplomacy to nuclear technologies, and we are walking hand in hand with them to realize our great and strong Turkey ideal.

We will continue to support each and every young person who works with determination to realize their dreams and wants to further elevate the civilization legacy inherited from their ancestors. As Turkey strengthens and consolidates its position as a central country, we will ensure that every success of Turkey is credited to our youth, and we will always keep alive our determination to work and succeed for them.

With these thoughts, I once again congratulate May 19th, Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day, and I respectfully remember all the heroes of our War of Independence, especially the founder of our Republic, Gazi Mustafa Kemal.
