Industrial Blow to Driver in Alanya: They Neither Repaired His Car Nor Dropped the Lawsuit

After a car accident in Alanya, a man who took his vehicle to a repair shop and initiated the insurance process claims to have been left victimized due to incomplete repairs. To make matters worse, the company filed a lawsuit against him.
According to reports, H.A. had a traffic accident on February 23, 2024. On March 11, 2024, he took his car to the E.O.A. repair shop in Alanya Industrial Zone for repairs under insurance coverage. He received the car back on March 15, 2024, after the repairs were allegedly completed.
Soon after, H.A. noticed issues with the vehicle and realized that some repairs and part replacements were not done properly. He stated:
"After receiving the vehicle, I checked the accident area and saw that the bumper beneath the left headlight was not properly mounted. Also, instead of replacing the damaged left front fender liner, they reinstalled the broken old part because the new part hadn't arrived yet. I was told it would be replaced once the part arrived. Later, Ş.E. closed the file without my knowledge or approval and sent me an IBAN number to pay for all labor, paint, and parts. I questioned why the file was closed without my consent and said this caused me financial harm. The requested part was never replaced or delivered to me. I said I was willing to pay for the labor and paint costs and would pay the rest once the part was installed. However, my request for an invoice covering only labor and paint was rejected, and the full amount was demanded. When I refused, Ş.E. ended the call saying, ‘I’ll get three times that amount from you.’ Throughout the process, my document requests were ignored. Despite all this, the company took me to court in Alanya. They victimized me a second time.”
