No More "No Signal" in Alanya! Penalties Will Be Issued If Phones Don't Work

BTK will conduct extensive field measurements in Alanya to improve mobile network performance, and penalties will be imposed on operators in areas with no signal.

The Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK) will carry out field measurements in Alanya, as in the rest of Turkey, to enhance mobile communication quality. Inspections will be conducted in the city center, rural areas, and strategic routes of Alanya in response to complaints about poor signal reception. The measurements aim to objectively assess coverage and service quality of mobile networks. Operators serving areas identified with insufficient coverage will face penalties. Additionally, strict supervision will be applied to measurement companies. This regulation is expected to help resolve mobile communication issues in Alanya.
