A beauty salon in Alanya performing illegal hair extensions has defrauded clients

The scandalous incident occurred in Alanya. A person who had hair extensions at the B. Güzellik Merkezi, owned by G.H., went to the Alanya Courthouse to file a complaint. After realizing that the hair extension was done illegally and being dissatisfied with the result, the person reported the issue to the prosecutor's office.
Beauty salons, which gained attention due to Dilan Polat, are now under scrutiny. It is alleged that illegal hair extensions were also performed at G.H.'s beauty salon in Alanya. It is claimed that the salon, which employs part-time doctors, provided illegal services to its clients.
BEAUTY SALONS CANNOT PERFORM HAIR EXTENSIONS
The Alanya Municipality and relevant authorities have stated that hair extensions are strictly prohibited in beauty salons. Officials emphasized that beauty salons cannot exceed their primary activities and assured that necessary sanctions will be applied to such businesses.
SANCTIONS SHOULD BE IMPOSED ON ILLEGAL OPERATIONS
Dr. Emre Kıymık noted that aesthetic procedures are being performed illegally in beauty salons, and recently citizens have been facing various health problems related to these procedures. He stated that sanctions should be applied to those performing these procedures.
Dr. Emre Kıymık also emphasized that procedures such as fillers, botox, youth injections, mesotherapy, and hair or eyebrow extensions should be performed only by plastic surgeons, dermatologists, or medical aesthetic practitioners certified by the ministry. He added, "Recently, we are seeing a significant number of illegal minimal aesthetic procedures being performed in beauty salons. This year, there is also a notable increase in illegal procedures. As a result, the number of people coming to us with problems has increased. The main reason for this is the lack of sanctions for such illegal operations."
