Education in Alanya will continue in Cikcilli

At Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ), the contract for the construction of a shared classroom building within the Health Campus of the Cikcilli Campus, which is under construction, has been signed.

Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ) continues to advance not only academically but also in its physical growth. The signing of the contract for the construction of the second building on the Cikcilli Campus, which will be the largest campus of ALKÜ with a total area of 851,000 square meters, has taken place. The contract for the construction of the shared classroom building in the Cikcilli Health Campus was signed between ALKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan and Mr. Suat Sayın, Chairman of the Board of Sayın Prefabrik İnşaat A.Ş. The signing ceremony at the ALKÜ Rector's office was also attended by Hamit Özdemir and Ferhat Durmuş, Deputy General Managers of Sayın Prefabrik İnşaat A.Ş., and Adem Yavuz Avşar, Technical Director of the ALKÜ Construction Department.

A SHARED CLASSROOM BUILDING FOR THE HEALTH CAMPUS WILL BE CONSTRUCTED

According to the signed contract, following the Faika Hacıkadiroğlu Central Research Laboratory, a shared classroom building with a construction area of 14,000 square meters will be the second building in the Cikcilli Health Campus. In this shared classroom building, which will be used by medical faculty students, students from the Faculty of Dentistry, Faculty of Health Sciences, and Vocational School of Health Services will also benefit from the laboratories inside the building. The shared classroom building of the Health Campus will include 49 laboratories, 8 amphitheater classrooms, 1 seminar/conference hall, 3 meeting rooms, 73 offices, 1 cafeteria, 1 library, and 2 changing rooms (for men and women).

ALKÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan announced that the groundbreaking ceremony for the shared classroom building of the Cikcilli Health Campus will be held soon and stated that ALKÜ is rapidly continuing its physical expansion alongside its academic development. Highlighting the importance of the Cikcilli Campus for Alanya and the region, Rector Türkdoğan said, “Our Cikcilli Campus will be one of the most important campuses of our university. It will include many buildings and social areas, and we are working to complete it. We have recently signed a contract with Mr. Suat Sayın, Chairman of the Board of Sayın Prefabrik İnşaat A.Ş., for the construction of the shared classroom building of the Cikcilli Health Campus. We will ensure the rapid completion of the second building of our campus – the shared classroom building of the Cikcilli Health Campus. We are also continuing all our efforts to build other buildings on the campus. We will start the construction of the sports and health complex of the campus soon. I hope that the signed contract will be beneficial for our country, Alanya, and the ALKÜ family.”
