Second Angiography Unit Launched at Alanya Training and Research Hospital

A second angiography device has been put into service at the Heart Center Unit of Alanya Training and Research Hospital. With the addition of this new angiography room, heart patients will now be treated more quickly and effectively. The new unit will also allow for angiographic and interventional radiological procedures across various disease groups.

Chief Physician Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Güler made the following remarks about the services provided by the Heart Center following the installation of the new device:

“Our Heart Center operates 24/7 and is run by a team of experienced cardiologists, heart surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses. In the last 5 months, we have successfully performed 1,266 angiography and heart valve surgeries in our unit. In this era where technological advancements are rapidly integrated into the medical field, we constantly update our professional knowledge and closely follow innovations. Interventional radiology is not only a vital field today but also a leading discipline shaping the medicine of the future.

With our new angiography device, we aim to provide more comprehensive and high-tech healthcare services to both the people of Alanya and those coming from neighboring districts. Our citizens will now be able to receive faster and more effective treatments from the expert hands of our doctors. I would like to thank our Minister of Health and our Provincial Health Director on behalf of myself, our healthcare staff, and our citizens for their support. I hope this development will be beneficial to Alanya and the region.”
