Bread Prices Hiked in Antalya: Here's the New Price

Another bread price hike in Antalya: 200 grams now 15 TL, 240 grams 18 TL

Due to increasing production costs, bread prices in Antalya have been raised once again as of July. At the July General Assembly Meeting of the Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ATSO), it was decided that 200 grams of bread would now cost 15 TL, while 240 grams would be sold for 18 TL.

Bakery operators cited rising costs in flour, electricity, natural gas, and labor as reasons for the hike. With this adjustment, the total price increase for bread in 2025 has reached 45%.

Low-income citizens reacted strongly to the decision, saying that hikes on staple foods are making daily life increasingly difficult. The new prices are expected to be implemented across all ATSO member bakeries shortly.
