In Seferihisar, Izmir, after a motor malfunction caused a zodiac boat to be towed to the marina, a fire broke out on the boat, followed by an explosion. Six people, who sustained burns on their bodies from the flame flash and jumped into the sea, were rescued by the arriving coast guard team and taken to the hospital.

Meanwhile, the coach Yılmaz Vural, who arrived at the hospital, received information from doctors about the condition of his friends, businessman Oskar Gültaşlı (44) and K.G. (52), who were injured in the boat accident. It was reported that the injured were not in life-threatening condition, and the partially burned boat was towed to the marina.

The incident occurred around 10:00 PM in the Aegean Sea off the coast of Sığacık District. Hakan D. (60), along with businessman Oskar Gültaşlı, K.G., and three other people whose names have not yet been learned, set out to sea from Teos Marina on his boat. While sailing at sea, the boat's engine malfunctioned after a while. Following a distress call, the boat was towed to the marina by a zodiac boat. Allegedly, when the boat's engine was attempted to be restarted about 300 meters from the marina, an explosion occurred due to a fire that started from the fuel tank.

YILMAZ VURAL VISITED HIS FRIENDS IN THE HOSPITAL

Meanwhile, upon hearing the news of the accident, coach Yılmaz Vural came to Bayraklı City Hospital with the relatives of his friends on the boat, businessman Oskar Gültaşlı and K.G. Vural visited his injured friends, offering them well-wishes and obtaining information from the doctors about their health conditions. Vural reported that the injured had second-degree burns but their lives were not in danger. Vural and the relatives of the injured are continuing to wait at the hospital.

Additionally, while the partially burned boat was towed to the marina, an investigation into the accident was initiated.
