At the 2024 Paris Olympics, our national swimmer Kuzey Tunçelli set a world junior record in the men's 1500m freestyle final with a time of 14:41.22, finishing in fifth place.

Competing at the Paris 2024 Olympics, swimmer Kuzey Tunçelli finished fifth in the 1500 meters freestyle race.

The 16-year-old Kuzey Tunçelli, who became the first Turkish swimmer to reach the final in Olympic swimming history, competed in the men's 1500 meters freestyle preliminaries at the Paris La Defense Arena.

The young swimmer completed the final with a time of 14:41.22, placing fifth in the Olympic Games.

Kuzey Tunçelli, the youngest athlete in Turkey's Olympic delegation, also achieved his best career performance.
