Historic night at Alanya-Gazipaşa Airport: Direct flights from the Netherlands have started

First Direct Flight from Amsterdam to Alanya Gazipaşa Airport Took Off

The first direct flight from Amsterdam to Alanya Gazipaşa Airport was welcomed with an enthusiastic ceremony. Passengers were offered traditional local delicacies of Alanya. During the ceremony attended by Alanya Airport Director Ali Özgür Pehlivan and protocol members, carnations were distributed to passengers, and local specialties such as S Pasta and Çiğirdik were served. The cabin crew received lapel flowers made from silk cocoons unique to Alanya. The ceremony concluded with a commemorative cake cutting.

In cooperation with TUI Airlines Nederland, flights on the Amsterdam-Alanya route are scheduled every Monday and Thursday with a total of 32 flights planned. This new route allows Dutch tourists to fly directly to Alanya, marking an important step for regional tourism.

Thanks were extended to Ali Özgür Pehlivan, Director of TAV Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport. It is expected that the airport will play a more active role in the European and Central Asian markets in the 2025 tourism season. The welcoming ceremony also gained significant attention on social media.
