Parks in Alanya are being renovated one by one.

A comprehensive renovation was carried out by the Alanya Municipality at Özler Children’s Park, located in Cumhuriyet Neighborhood, which had aged over the years. With the hard work of the teams, the park was made more functional, safer, and more modern, and was opened for use in a short time.

The Alanya Municipality Directorate of Parks and Gardens conducted a comprehensive renovation at Özler Children’s Park in Cumhuriyet Neighborhood. As part of the works, an unused empty area in the park was utilized by installing outdoor exercise equipment. Thus, a versatile area appealing to both children and adults was created, and the old play sets were renovated to make the park more modern.

To ensure children’s safe playtime, rubber flooring was applied to the playground surface. In addition, painting, tree pruning, and landscaping works were completed throughout the park, and with its renewed appearance, Özler Children’s Park was opened to the use of local residents.

Zavlak: We will continue our works throughout the city

Municipal Advisor Nazmi Zavlak, who inspected the renovated park together with Cumhuriyet Neighborhood Headman Musa Akın and informed about the works carried out by Alanya Municipality, said, “Our park works continue in the east, west, and center of our city. To improve city aesthetics and quality of life, we continued maintenance and repair works in our parks at Özler Children’s Park. As in many parts of Alanya, we made the park more functional and safe by applying soft flooring here as well. We installed exercise equipment in a previously unused area of our park. We made idle areas functional with lighting and seating groups. We will continue our works throughout the city.”
