Fraudsters in Alanya Receive Heavy Sentences

In Alanya, Four Fraud Suspects Sentenced to a Total of 21 Years and 9 Months in Prison

In the final hearing held at the Alanya 2nd High Criminal Court, four suspects on trial for telephone fraud were sentenced to a total of 21 years and 9 months in prison. The defendants attended the session via the Audio and Video Information System (SEGBİS) from the prisons where they were held.

Defendants E.P., Y.E., S.B., and Y.Z. faced the judge for the last time. They were found guilty of defrauding citizens through digital systems. The sentences are as follows:

E.P.: 4 years 2 months in prison and a judicial fine of 11,000 TL

Y.E.: 10 years in prison

S.B.: 2 years 11 months in prison and a fine of 7,750 TL

Y.Z.: 4 years in prison and a fine of 6,000 TL

While the defendants attended via SEGBİS from prison, their lawyers were present in the courtroom. After the session, the court announced the verdicts.
