When Çiğdem E. did not return home 5 months ago, her relatives reported her missing to the police. The Homicide Bureau of the Public Order Department began reviewing security camera footage from the areas where the woman was last seen. The investigation revealed that Çiğdem E. was seen with the four Afghan suspects.
SUSPECTS CONFESSED TO THE MURDER
The police detained the four suspects on suspicion of kidnapping or murdering Çiğdem E. During the interrogation, it was determined that after being stabbed to death, Çiğdem E. was buried in the garden of a private house on Hacı Hasanbaşı Street in the Karatay district. Her body was found during excavation work in the garden.
