In Alanya, the body of a woman who died while engaging in water sports has been recovered

In Alanya, the body of the 36-year-old woman who died after falling into the sea during a water sports activity and being run over by another boat has been collected from the morgue by her relatives. Cennet Aslan’s uncle, Nurettin Aslan, claimed that they will pursue legal action, alleging negligence in the incident.

The body of Cennet Aslan (36), who died when another boat ran over her while she was participating in a Big Mable activity, was taken by her uncle Nurettin Aslan and family members from the morgue after the autopsy. It will be transferred to Ankara for burial.

CAUSE OF DEATH STILL UNKNOWN

Nurettin Aslan, who came to collect the body, said: “The death report does not specify a clear cause of death. This means it is considered suspicious. This indicates that there was a fault on the part of the operator. If you are running water sports activities, you need to consider the possibility that a person might fall into the sea. That is the very purpose of the activity. The same applies to the parasailing boats operating in the same area. Don’t you consider the possibility of someone falling into the sea? This is a major flaw and already a serious error. It could have been someone else in her place. Why do we have to face these consequences all the time? Should every vacation be a brush with death? The documents state that the cause of death has not yet been confirmed by the forensic doctor and is not listed. There is no indication that death was due to natural causes like suffocation or heart failure. This directly relates to the accident and its cause. This will be clarified in the autopsy results. We will file a lawsuit; a person's life should not be so cheap. You shouldn’t receive news of a person’s death two hours after having a pleasant conversation with them.”
