Citizens in Alanya are in protest: the vaccine has run out

In Alanya, a citizen wanting to get the measles vaccine expressed frustration over the lack of vaccines in health centers.

A citizen who went to a health center in Alanya to get a measles vaccine reacted to the absence of the vaccine. In a message sent to the Alanya Posta Medya WhatsApp tip line, he described his situation, stating that there was no vaccine available in the local health centers and that he could not find anyone to address his concerns when he called the Ministry of Health.

NO MEASLES OR TETANUS VACCINES!

Regarding this situation, Alanya District Health Director Nadir Aldemir stated that there are no measles and tetanus vaccines available in Alanya. Aldemir said, “Currently, there are issues with the supply of certain vaccines in Alanya. As vaccines come from abroad, there can sometimes be problems with the sending companies. Supplies will be restored, and we expect this to happen soon. However, since the Ministry of Health has not given us a clear date, neither we nor the pharmaceutical warehouses can know when”.
