Hüseyin Girenes Science High School highlighted the issue of obesity

The principal of Hüseyin Girenes Science High School in Alanya, Banu Cankut, and the school's benefactor, Hüseyin Girenes, gathered with Alanya's protocol and members of the press for a luncheon.

Newly appointed principal Banu Cankut hosted a lunch for the incoming 9th-grade students to help them integrate into the school and raise awareness about healthy eating in the fight against obesity. The event was attended by Alanya District Governor Fatih Ürkmezer, President of the Alanya Chamber of Commerce and Industry Eray Erdem, District Police Chief Murat Kenan Patat, District Gendarmerie Commander Lieutenant Colonel Hüseyin Direk, District National Education Director Yusuf Yılmaz, members of the Alanyaspor Board of Directors, President of the Alanya Active Journalists Association Ferit Kesen, several business people, and members of the press.

After the meal, Governor Fatih Ürkmezer chatted with the students and received information from Principal Banu Cankut about the school's achievements and activities, wishing for their continued success. The school's benefactor, Hüseyin Girenes, also thanked the participants for raising awareness.
