Another First for GZP in Alanya!

The first flight from Slovakia’s capital Bratislava to Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport took place through the cooperation of Dertur Group’s Exim Kartago Tours Fischer Tour Operator and Corendon Airlines. 178 passengers were welcomed with a water salute and carnations.

The Corendon Airlines aircraft was greeted with a water cannon salute, while passengers were offered carnations upon arrival. The welcoming ceremony was attended by several local officials and tourism representatives.

6,000 Passengers Expected:

Flights from Slovakia will continue every Thursday until September 28. Approximately 6,000 tourists are expected to arrive throughout the summer season.

Alanya Municipality Advisor Abdurrahman Açıkalın stated:

“We are truly enjoying the result of our efforts throughout the winter. Even the pilot said he had never seen such warm hospitality anywhere else. Our only mission is to elevate tourism in our city and region to the highest level.”
