High-speed train! Announcement about the high-speed train in Alanya

In order to develop and expand railway transportation in Turkey, major investments are being made in new high-speed train lines.

As part of Turkey's goals to expand and develop its railway network, important steps regarding new high-speed train lines were announced by Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloğlu. Particularly, projects like the Halkalı-Kapıkule line are expanding the High-Speed Train (YHT) network centered in Ankara.

Among the future plans, lines extending from Kayseri through Aksaray and Konya to Antalya stand out. Lines from Eskişehir to Afyonkarahisar and then to Antalya, as well as the Sivas-Çetinkaya-Malatya routes, are also expected to be operational in the coming years.

With these projects, Turkey's railway network will reach a total of 28,000 kilometers by 2053. The implementation of new high-speed train lines will significantly reduce travel times to cities like Alanya, making transportation faster and more efficient.
