Antalya — Horrific incident! A man killed his wife with a shotgun and then took his own life with a handgun

In Serik, after an argument with his wife Hülya Ulumaskan (52), Mehmet Ulumaskan (56) killed her with a shotgun and then took his own life with a handgun.

Mehmet Ulumaskan had an argument with his wife in their garden for an unknown reason. When the argument escalated, Mehmet took a shotgun from the house and shot his wife multiple times. He then went inside the house and shot himself in the head with a handgun. Hearing the gunshots, neighbors and the Ulumaskans' children rushed to the scene. Multiple ambulances and police teams were dispatched to the area. Hülya Ulumaskan was found dead, and Mehmet Ulumaskan, who was taken to the hospital, could not be saved.

The couple had four children and had moved to Antalya about 10 years ago. After autopsies at the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute, the bodies were sent to Viranşehir district in Şanlıurfa for burial, where they were picked up by their children and relatives.
