No one is smiling: Motivation is zero in Alanya
7 December / Gazete Alanya

Olive harvest has started in Alanya, but producers are complaining about low prices despite a large yield.
Olive producers, who had a tough time last year due to drought and low production, are not making the expected profits this year, even though there is an abundance of product.
Despite the increase in olive oil prices, producers say they are not making a profit due to rising costs and difficulty in finding workers. Hüseyin Babaoğlu, the owner of Oba Olive Oil Factory, stated that they decided to make a small price increase to improve producers' morale. Babaoğlu said, "Although there is plenty of product, the producers are not happy. Costs are rising, and the motivation of the producers is gone".
