Abundance of the New Year Season in Alanya Tourism

As preparations for the New Year continue, hotel occupancy rates in Alanya have reached nearly 90%. With demand from Germany, Poland, the UK, and Finland, hotels are preparing to host guests with special events and programs.

As the countdown to New Year’s Eve continues, preparations in Alanya’s tourist facilities have gained momentum. Hotels are organizing special events and programs to ensure their guests have an unforgettable night. Offering activities ranging from live music to gala dinners, hotels strive to provide every comfort for vacationers. Among the top requests for New Year bookings are visitors from Germany, Poland, the UK, and Finland. Representatives of Alanya’s tourism sector estimate that early bookings will push occupancy rates to around 90%. However, some experts warn hoteliers against setting overly high expectations.

90% OCCUPANCY ON NEW YEAR'S EVE

In an exclusive statement to Yeni Alanya, Alanya Tourist Operators Association (ALTİD) President Burhan Sili said: “During the winter season, the occupancy rate of open hotels varies between 60% and 70%. On New Year’s Eve, occupancy in open facilities reaches 90%. This increase is influenced by domestic travelers looking to spend the holiday season. Additionally, during the winter, Alanya welcomes tourists primarily from Germany, Poland, the UK, and Finland, where flights to our region continue.”
