Turkey moves closer to 5G: preparations in full swing

Turkey is accelerating its transition to 5G technology. The Information and Communication Technologies Authority (BTK) and major operators are conducting infrastructure tests and licensing procedures.
The new system is expected to transform industries such as manufacturing, healthcare, and transportation by offering data speeds up to 10 times faster and ultra-low latency.
Officials say pilot implementations will start in major cities before expanding nationwide.
