A fight broke out at an entertainment venue in Beşiktaş due to a "hostile look." A group attacked a man with a sidewalk stone, and he pulled out his gun, opening fire. In the shooting, 7 people were injured, and the assailant was arrested with the weapon.

The incident took place at around 03:00 on May 18 in Vişnezade District, Beşiktaş, Istanbul. A dispute broke out between Umut E. (29) and a group of young people over a "hostile look" as they were heading to an entertainment venue on the street.

HE PULLED OUT HIS GUN AND OPENED FIRE

In the ensuing fight, the group hit Umut E. on the head with a sidewalk stone, and he responded by pulling out his gun and opening fire on the attackers.

7 PEOPLE WERE INJURED

As Umut E. returned fire, Efe Ş. (22), Yunus Emre D. (23), Melül E. (23), Muhammed Enes K. (26), Yusuf G. (23), Selim Y. (23), and Mahmud N. (20) were injured in the legs.
