A huge KYK dormitory is coming to Alanya.

A 3000-bed KYK dormitory will be built at Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University (ALKÜ) Cikcilli Campus. The handover of the site has been completed. The contractor company will begin construction works after the Eid al-Adha holiday.

Mehmet Şarani Tavlı, Chairman of AK Party Alanya District, stated that the project, which will be carried out by the General Directorate of Credit and Dormitories affiliated to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, will provide ALKÜ students with a modern and safe accommodation environment. Tavlı said, “In the previous period, none of our students who applied to KYK were left without accommodation. With this investment, our dormitory capacity will increase even more.”

Thanking those who contributed to the project, Tavlı said, “Our former Foreign Minister and Antalya Deputy Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and the regional deputies made great contributions to bringing this important investment to Alanya. We wish our students all the best.”

Construction Starts After the Holiday

Tavlı stated that the handover was completed and the contractor company will break ground after the Eid al-Adha holiday. When the project is completed, the accommodation capacity will increase in line with the growing number of students at ALKÜ, and students will be able to study in more comfortable conditions.
