20-year-old theology student and social media content creator Sena Düzgün was found hanging from a tree on the campus of Dicle University, in the garden of the oncology hospital. Her disappearance was reported by her family after she failed to return home at night. The incident has caused widespread sorrow, and suicide is suspected.

Family reported her missing

After Sena didn’t return home overnight, her family filed a missing person report in the morning. Following a search operation, her lifeless body was discovered.

Allegedly sent “Retrieve my body” message

It is claimed that Sena had previously attempted suicide. Reportedly, she sent her instructor a note before the incident, stating her intention to end her life and sharing her location. She allegedly also wrote “Retrieve my body” and may have recorded the moment of her death.

“A dead person’s diary” post

On her Instagram, one day before the incident, she wrote: “26.05.2025, An unhealthy individual. A dead person’s diary.” Authorities have launched an investigation, but Dicle University and the Faculty of Theology have not yet released an official statement.
