There is a busy atmosphere at the sacrificial animal market in Alanya ahead of the 2025 Eid al-Adha. Prices for large and small livestock have been clarified at the market established on Yerlikler Street in Oba Neighborhood.

How Much Are Sacrificial Animal Prices in Alanya for 2025?

Prices for large livestock at the Alanya sacrificial animal market range from 80,000 TL to 350,000 TL. Small livestock prices start at 10,000 TL and go up to 30,000 TL. The animals on sale were brought not only from Alanya but also from surrounding districts and highlands.

Market Activity Has Started in Alanya

There is much more activity in the market compared to last year. Producer Ahmet Ekici from Demirtaş said he brought 150 animals to the market this year, and only 30 remain. Ekici said, “Due to the increase in feed and hay prices, sacrificial animal prices have also risen. However, our sales are going well.”

Animals from the Highlands Are Also in the Market

Musa Yılmaz brought animals from the highlands to sell at the market. Yılmaz, who said he sold them at lower prices compared to last year, also complained about some physical conditions of the market. He particularly criticized the height of the metal fences and the insufficient nets used to protect the animals.
