Turkey Raises Passport Fees in 2026 – New Costs Announced

Following the official 2026 Revaluation Rate (YDO) set at 25.49%, Turkey has increased the fees for issuing passports.

The new 2026 fee schedule:

Passport booklet fee: ₺1,424.

Fee for a 6-month passport: ₺2,956, and for a 1-year passport: ₺4,296.

For a 2-year passport: ₺7,065, for a 3-year passport: ₺10,065.

This price increase means that people planning foreign travel should expect significantly higher costs for passport issuance, especially for short-term passports.

Analysts warn that due to high inflation and periodic revaluation, such increases in official fees are likely to continue — prospective travelers should budget accordingly.
