Illegal Alcohol Raid on Warehouse in Alanya

10,000 Liters of Illegal Alcohol Seized in Alanya Warehouse Raid

During a raid conducted by gendarmerie teams on a warehouse in Alanya, 10,000 liters of illegal alcohol were seized. Acting on the instructions of the Alanya Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office, the Antalya Provincial Gendarmerie Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Unit (KOM) and Alanya District Gendarmerie Command carried out a search as part of efforts to combat illegal alcohol production and distribution.

As a result of the search, the following items were seized:

9,000 liters of counterfeit vodka

1,000 liters of counterfeit rakı

2 alcohol bottling apparatuses

225 empty alcohol bottles

Judicial and administrative proceedings have been initiated against the suspect and the related business. In a statement from the Antalya Governorship:
