Shocking allegations in Antalya and Alanya: ‘An incident as big as the newborn scandal’

Serious allegations in Antalya and Alanya: Millions of dollars in insurance fraud claimed involving foreign tourists at luxury hotels and hospitals. The claims have gone viral on social media.

According to posts circulating on social media, certain hotels and hospitals in Antalya and Alanya have allegedly been involved in insurance fraud schemes targeting foreign tourists.

ALLEGATIONS TREND ON SOCIAL MEDIA

A healthcare and tourism scandal allegedly based in Antalya and Alanya has made waves on social media. Posts on the platform X claim that a system involving some private hospitals and luxury hotels has defrauded millions of dollars from foreign tourists’ insurance policies.

“TOURISTS HOSPITALIZED FOR MINOR SYMPTOMS”

It is alleged that tourists were referred to affiliated hospitals even for minor complaints such as coughing, where they were admitted for 4–5 days and subjected to extensive tests and procedures, thereby exploiting their insurance coverage. Hotels reportedly transported tourists to hospitals with their own vehicles and received commissions in return.

HOTELS AND HOSPITAL OWNED BY THE SAME PERSON?

According to the claims, the person behind the system is identified as Ş. V., who is said to own both the hotels and the hospital named Ö. A.H. The hotels mentioned include:

S. S. B.

S. S. P.

S. S. E.

S. S. R.

S. B. P. & S. H.

COMPARED TO THE “NEWBORN SCANDAL”

The posts compare the scheme to the infamous newborn baby trafficking scandal of the past, describing it as similarly organized and systematic. It is claimed that this situation represents “the most disgraceful form of social decay” and has caused reputational damage to Turkey in the international tourism industry.

“TURKEY HOLIDAYS NOT RECOMMENDED ABROAD”

Due to this system, foreign insurance companies are reportedly hesitant to cover trips to Turkey, and many tourists are unwilling to return after experiencing such situations. The claims also suggest that similar methods are being used in other holiday destinations, not just in Antalya.

CALL FOR OFFICIAL ACTION

The user who shared the post emphasized that this is a whistleblower alert and called on authorities to investigate. They argued that a comprehensive investigation could uncover a large-scale insurance fraud network.

WILL AUTHORITIES LAUNCH AN INVESTIGATION?

So far, no official statement has been made regarding the allegations. However, following the viral post, it is expected that inspections in the healthcare and tourism sectors will intensify.
