Good News for Tenants in Alanya: TOKİ to Build 452 Housing Units

452 Housing Units to Be Built in Tepe Neighborhood
The Housing Development Administration of Türkiye (TOKİ), under the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, has announced that it will construct 452 housing units in Alanya as part of the “250 Thousand Social Housing Project.” The units will be built in the Tepe neighborhood, with the tender scheduled for August 28, 2025.
Construction is planned to begin after site delivery and is expected to be completed within 500 days. In a previous project of 250 units in Alanya, beneficiaries had recently moved into their new homes.
Construction Costs Reassessed
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Treasury and Finance and the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change have announced the 2026 building square meter construction cost rates. Real Estate Consultant Ali Özsoy stated that if these rates are not revised according to current economic conditions, it could cause hardship for low-income citizens. Under the new regulation, property tax rates will increase for luxury residences and properties with features such as elevators and air conditioning.
Who Can Benefit from the Project?
This new social housing project in Alanya is considered a major opportunity for low-income citizens, especially tenants who cannot afford to buy a home. TOKİ application details are expected to be announced after the tender process.
