"Hospital Visiting Hours Changed in Alanya"

In Alanya, the working hours of operating rooms and endoscopy units in public hospitals, including the Training and Research Hospital, have been extended. The decision has sparked reactions.

According to the new regulation, in all public hospitals including Alanya Training and Research Hospital, operating rooms and endoscopy units will serve until 22:00 on weekdays and between 08:00–17:00 on weekends.

Following the announcement, criticism arose, highlighting that the decision may pose risks to both staff health and patient safety. Reactions stated: “Apart from emergency services, forcing employees to work overtime, at night, or on holidays without their consent is unacceptable.”
