Market Prices Soaring in Alanya: Citizens Returning Empty-Handed

With the summer season slowly coming to an end, price increases were observed in neighborhood markets compared to previous weeks. The traditional Thursday Market in Tosmur District attracted great interest for fresh fruits and vegetables, but this time prices disappointed consumers. While fruit prices started to decrease, vegetable prices increased. Cucumbers and eggplants, which were sold for 20-25 TL in recent weeks, rose to 40 TL this week.
